1. Overview

At Ostryx, we prioritize the privacy and security of our users. This Privacy Policy outlines how the PDF Viewer app developed by Ostryx collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our application.

2. Document Access & Local Storage

The App functions primarily as a local file viewer:

Local Processing: All PDF viewing, rendering, and processing take place directly on your local device.

No External Storage: Your personal PDF files and documents are never uploaded, backed up, transmitted, or stored on Ostryx servers or third-party servers.

3. Data Collection Practices

Personal Information: We do not collect personal identifiable information (PII) such as your name, phone number, address, or email address through the normal operation of the App.

Usage & Performance Data: Non-identifiable diagnostic metrics, crash reports, or application stability logs may be processed strictly for system debugging and user experience optimization.

4. Information Security

Since your documents remain strictly on your local device, protection of your content relies on your device's security settings. Ostryx maintains standard software integrity safeguards within the App to prevent unauthorized data access.

5. Third-Party Libraries & Services

If the App incorporates underlying platform services or crash reporting libraries, any data collected by these frameworks is anonymized and processed strictly according to their respective privacy standards.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Ostryx reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version made available through our official website or application updates.
